The Challenge:
CyberLab wanted a nutrition-focused session for their Wellbeing Week for their hybrid team where 95% of employees work from home.
People & Culture Manager Mimi's biggest concern was whether it would land with a remote, introverted, tech-heavy team who prefer data over wellness buzzwords.
After an initial discovery call, key issues identified were around reduced afternoon productivity and the pitfalls of remote work (aka the fridge next door!)
What We Delivered:
An online midday lunch and learn focused around tackling the all-too relatable 3pm slump— evidence-led, data-driven and refreshingly free of generic wellness fluff.
The session was deliberately designed with introverts in mind — using anonymous online polling and word cloud software so every team member could contribute and engage fully without ever having to speak up or put themselves on the spot.
We focused on super practical changes the busy team could make straight away with a specific emphasis on healthy habits whilst working just a few steps away from the biscuit cupboard.
The Result:

02 Can you deliver a lunch and learn nutrition workshop for a small team of under 30 people?
Absolutely — and smaller groups often make for really engaging sessions. Our lunch and learn sessions are typically 45 minutes long, designed to fit neatly into an employees’ lunch break — long enough to deliver genuinely impactful, evidence-based content, short enough to feel like a break rather than another meeting. Longer 60-minute sessions are also available if you'd prefer a slightly deeper dive.
04 Where are lunch and learn nutrition workshops delivered?
Our lunch and learn sessions are available both in-person and online. In-person sessions are delivered across London, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire, with travel to other UK locations available for larger groups. Online sessions are delivered live via your preferred platform — Zoom, Teams or Google Meet — and are available to teams anywhere in the UK and globally. We deliver the majority of our lunch and learns virtually online. With anonymous polling, live word clouds and an active chat function, remote sessions consistently generate the same levels of energy and interaction as being in the room together. No travel, no venue, no logistics — just log on and let your team leave feeling inspired.
05 Who Delivers Your Lunch & Learn?
Every session is delivered personally by Steph Ley BSc, DipION, mANP, mGNC — a qualified Nutritional Therapist with a Distinction-grade diploma from the Institute of Optimum Nutrition with specialist experience in workplace wellbeing. Steph also holds a First Class degree in Business Management from Exeter University — meaning she understands the realities of corporate life as well as the science behind it. No textbook theory. No generic advice. Just evidence-based nutrition delivered in a language your team actually understands.
06 Can the session be recorded for team members who can't attend live?
Yes — you're welcome to record the session and share it internally with colleagues who couldn't make it, remote team members in different time zones or anyone who wants to revisit the content at their own pace. Recording included in price.
07 Will the content be relevant to team members with different dietary needs or neurodivergent staff?
Absolutely. Before every session we find out about your team's specific dietary needs and preferences — so if you have a large number of vegans, vegetarians or gluten-free team members, the content, food examples and recipe suggestions will reflect that from the start. Every session naturally includes plant-based and meat-free options as standard — nobody is ever made to feel excluded or catered for as an afterthought. For neurodivergent team members, our anonymous polling and chat-based interaction means nobody ever has to speak up or be put on the spot — making sessions genuinely accessible and comfortable for everyone regardless of how they engage best.
